Employers who find job seekers that may not have all of the experience or skill necessary to perform the job duties, but who could become job ready with additional training, may be able to receive financial assistance for training. As an incentive to hire workers through the OJT Program, training costs may be reimbursed up to 75 percent of the new hire’s wages.
The OJT program is a “hire-first” program in which the employer enters into an agreement with the local Illinois workNet Center to hire, train, and retain an individual.
- We match qualified applicants with approved job openings
- We design a training plan that meets your needs or work with existing proprietary training plans.
- You get reimbursed a percentage of wages during the OJT period.
