WORK AT HOME SCAMS

"Last month I made $8,000 working at home right from my own computer." How often have you heard that claim on TV? Work at home schemes and scams are on the TV and the internet every day. If they were real, everyone would be rich and everyone would work from home. Well, the only ones who get rich are the people who run the scams. Everyone else is a victim who loses money.

Here is a list of the most common scams the ëwork at home' companies use.

1. Assembly Work at Home - You purchase the materials, assemble the products and then attempt to sell them back to the company, but they never meet their standards, and you are left holding the goods.

2. Chain Letters - All you need to do is send us $$$ and we will sent you a mailing list and show you how the $$$ will flow in to you. You're out your money and receive nothing in return.

3. Envelop Stuffing - You answer the ad and in return receive promotional material asking for money for advertizing, postage, envelops and printing.

4. Multi level Marketing (The Pyramid Scheme) You pay a high price for a product/service, then recruit others to work for you selling the same product/service, or buy the same product from you. Eventually the people at the bottom are stuck because the market is saturated and/or they cannot sell the product or recruit others.

5. Process Medical Claims - You must pay up front expenses for computer software & training programs, then you find out there is a delay in starting your job, the central computer is down, there are mistakes in your work and you must take the training again, then the job never materializes.

RESULTS - BYE BYE MONEY, NO INCOME!
